My story
Currently, I serve as a Product Designer at US Bank, leveraging my expertise honed through diverse roles in the design world. My journey includes a stint as a part-time UX/UI Design Mentor at Springboard, where I shared insights with aspiring designers. Previously, I held the position of Senior UX/UI Designer at Xcel Energy and Thrivent, where I crafted flagship web experiences that left a lasting impact.
During my tenure as a Product Designer at Ameriprise, I played a pivotal role in the development of a native, cross-platform mobile app within a delivery-focused, agile web environment. I led the re-design initiative for an insurance web property, contributed to enhancing web accessibility functionality, and played a key role in creating a design system for an investment web property in a large-scale corporate setting.
My career also includes a rewarding phase at a premier B2B Franchise Marketing advertising agency. Here, my focus was on delivering results-driven, user-centric, lead-generating mobile-first websites and digital experiences. Additionally, I contributed significantly to enterprise-wide brand marketing communication initiatives at Optum, a Fortune six healthcare innovation company.
My skills are underpinned by formal training in UX/UI Design, encompassing user experience design, visual design, and front-end web development. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, rounding out my qualifications and enhancing my design prowess.
